Thermoplastic Vertical Cetrifugal Pumps

      Every wetted component in a Vanton SUMP-GARD vertical pump, including the heavy-wall shaft sleeve is offered in PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF and other non-metallic materials compatible with the pumped fluid. This eliminates corrosion and minimises abrasion, resulting in lower maintenance, longer pump life, and contamination-free products. SG pumps are configured for sumps to 15 metres (50 ft) deep, and handle flows to 330 m3/hr (1450 gpm), heads to 85 metres (245 ft), and temperatures to 135°C (275°F).
     SUMP-GARD pumps are ideal for the transfer and treatment of process fluids, plant effluents and industrial or municipal water and waste streams. They are available with vortex pump heads to pass sludges, slurries and stringy materials as well as fluids with solids to 75mm ( 3 inches) in diameter.

      Specifications

        1. Machined motor mounting bracke containing regreaseable camlock ball bearings for position and locking pump shaft in position.

        2. Ball bearing act as thrust bearings and allow accurate adjustnent of lmpeller clearance without removing pumps from installation.
        3. Fume-Gard vapor seal minimizedemissions and protecs exteal bearing and motor from corrosive fumes.
        4. Themoplastic cover plae customized to meet tank/sump configuration.
        5. Themoplastic columns structurally reinforced for additional strength when shaft lengths are greater than 8 feet.
        6. Themoplastic sleeve to isolate the alloy shaft from the pumped fluid.
        7. Submerged bearings with ceramic inner sleeves and Teflon, Vanite or ceramic outer sleeves, lubricated by the pumped fluid. For avrasive liquids or slurries, bearings are flushed with clear fluid or fresh water.
        8. Precision molded thermoplastic casing, casing cover and impeller.
        9. Themoplastic closed or semi-open impeller injection molded with embedded dynamically balanced stainless steel insert with radial vanes, keyed to shaft to assure positive drive. votex construction available for handling sludge, slurries and solid laden fluids.
