     “Hunt&Mitton” Vaive company can trace its history back to 1842 when Colonel James Hunt founded the business of James Hunt& Company making valves for steam and hot water. He was joined in 1874 by Mr.Thomas E.Mitton and the business took the name it has to day Hunt&Miton Company.

     In the 1980’S the company worked with ICI (now lneos Chlor) tobdevelop new and improved designs forvhazardous chemical service. These designs formed he basis of the sppecificaton that have been developed by EURO Chlor.

     The founding in January 2010 of Hunt&Mitton valve company. Yancheng China opens new chapter in the history of successful company and brings its world class products range into the world’s largest markt for hazardous chemical valves.

    • Zero Environmental leakage Hastelloy C276 bellows seal with auxiliary PTFE packed gland Male and female trapped Gylon body/bonnet joint. Forgings for DN15, DN20,DN25 and DN40 bodies.

    • Castings for >DN50 100% x-rayed to GEST 17/492.

    • Procss lsolation Narrow seat contact face will cut through any build up of solids/impurities. Integral welded Stellite 21 seat and Stellite 6 hard faced disc.

    • Robust and Reeliable One plec non-rolating stem provides robust design. All mating dimensions are gauaed to tight tolerances ensuring reliable and repeatable performance.
