Over 60 Years

Sealless Magnetic Drive Pumps

Klaus Union started out over 60 years ago as a vision of the founder Franz Klaus, developed into today’s world’s leading manufacturer of sealless magnetic drive pumps. Providing the broadest range of sealless application coverage, Klaus Union is the trused specialist, when leakage cannot be tolerated. Over 60,000 installed sealless magnetic drive pumps worldwide handle aggressive, toxic and explosives fluids safety and reliable. Sering the Chemical, Petochemical, Pharmaceutical and other lndustries. Klaus Union’s scope of products is complemented by a broad range of high quality valves.

    WHY MAGNETIC DRIVE PUMPS

First, as soon as “zero leakage” is a must, the use of a magnetic drive pump provides the advange of eliminating a usually more-expensive double mechanical seal system with a pressurized sealing arrangement, all necessary auxlilary components and installations, as well as the related maintenance of this system.

            SLM-HVO

            SEALLESS MULTI-STAGE MAGNETIC DRIVE PUMP

Klaus Union’s SLM-HVO is a sealless multi-stage pump with permanent magnetic coupling for applications with high delivery head requirements. Multiple centrifugal stages are arranged in back-to-back design to reduce axial bearing load to a minimum.

            Construction

              • Horizontal high pressure multi-stage pump

              • Permanent magnet drive system, no mechanical seal

              • Separation of liquid chamber/atmosphere by means of an isolation shell

              • Synchronous drive transmitted by inner and outer magnet systems

              • Liquid lubricated internal bearings made of silicon carbide

              • Bearings of outer magnet carrier: deep groove ball bearings

              • Impellers arranged in pairs, back-to-back design
